Andrew Ehlert is the editor of the Functional Medicine Index. He sets its data standards, the published ranking rubric and the corrections process, and signs off on every change to how practices are scored.
Health and fitness have been a constant in Andrew's life. He played soccer at a high level, and the training, recovery and attention to the body that came with it shaped how he thinks about health: as something built day to day, and different for every person.
That's why he cares about functional medicine and personalized care, and why he built this directory: finding a practitioner who will look at the whole picture shouldn't mean guessing. The index puts the facts that matter (credentials, licences, insurance, telehealth and published prices) side by side, each one checked against its source.
Andrew isn't a clinician. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and condition guides stay out of search results until a credentialed medical reviewer has reviewed them.
